Montezuma Designated a “Better Hometown City”

After three years of hard work, Montezuma is now a designated Better Hometown City. This designation is the equivalent of the National Main Street Designation for smaller communities.

“It is really dear to my heart to make this community fit into today’s marketplace,” says Downtown Development Authority Manager, Camille Bielby.

She’s been the driving force behind this journey for Montezuma.

“The four wheel spokes behind Main Street are design, promotion, economic restructuring, and organization,” says Bielby.

They’re all completed which gives the city the official title.
