MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Monster Jam is coming to the Macon Coliseum this weekend (March 29th-31st). The first event is tonight at 7:00pm., followed by shows on Saturday at 1:00pm and 7:00pm and Sunday at 3:00pm.

Our very own Chris Denmark spoke with Krysten Anderson the driver for Grave Digger, one of the monster trucks in the show. “It’s going to be action-packed from beginning to end. You’re definitely not going to be sitting in the seats that you paid for. I can promise you that. You’re going to be standing on the seats having a great time,” said Anderson.

Anderson says she’s competed for 8 years and the Monster Jam Freestyle Event is her personal favorite because it’s where Grave Digger always shines.

Anderson explained what it’s like to attend the show. “I mean you’re going to be within 50 or 60 feet of a Monster Truck, a 12,000 pound monster truck, balancing on its front tires, balancing on it’s rear tires. This is the up close and personal event you want to come to. It takes a little bit of practice to be able to maneuver in some venues like this, but we make it look easy,” said Anderson. “You are never going to be closer to a Monster Truck doing its thing.”
