Monroe Deputies Seize “Spice” Bags After New Ban

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Investigators and deputies have taken more than 200 packages of synthetic marijuana off shelves from gas stations and convenience stores across Monroe County.

Governor Deal signed a bill Tuesday making the substance, also known as “spice,” illegal in Georgia.

The Drug task force visited 32 stores and found 256 bags, valued at nearly $10,000.  Deputies are warning that you can face criminal charges for possessing or selling spice.
