Vehicle hits, kills pedestrian on Highway 42 in Monroe County

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An accident on Highway 42 in Monroe County claims the life of a pedestrian.

According to a post on the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, the incident happened at 6:45 a.m. Monday.

Deputies say a vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian on Highway 42. The accident is still under investigation and there is no further information at this time.
