Monroe County Hospital Authority Board Member Retires

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – On Tuesday, friends, family, and colleagues of Aretha Neal gathered at the Monroe County Hospital to celebrate her 28 years of service.

Since 1985, Neal has served as an authority board member. During the ceremony, she said she’s dedicated her spare time to serving the community and the facility. This past February, she was the recipient of the Georgia Hospital Associations Distinguished Service Award.

“I am proud of this small hospital in this town where we serve so many people,” said Aretha Neal.

Neal plans to help with in the hospital’s marketing department now that she’s retired and looks forward to enjoying some time off.
