Missing Macon Man Found Dead in Jones County

29 year-old Lecedric Gray was found dead Monday afternoon near Cheehaw Trail in Jones County.

According to Captain Billy Mitchell, Gray was last seen on Friday. Mitchell tells 41 NBC Gray jumped out of an ambulance when he was being transported to a hospital for medical problems.

Gray’s family filed a missing person’s report when they did not hear from him.

Search dogs and helicopters assisted in the search.

No foul play is suspected in his death.
