Missing Dublin Man Found Dead

According to Detective Stacy Sapp with Dublin Police, 43 year old Anthony Holmes was reported missing last week. Holmes’ 1998 Black Nissan was found in Jefferson County Monday afternoon.

Jefferson County Coroner Edward James says Wadley Police found Holmes’ body 100 yards away from the car in a creek. According to James, Holmes died from blunt force trauma and a single gun shot wound to the head.

Wadley Police and the GBI are still investigating.
