Miss Macon to host 12th Annual ‘Teeing Off for Children and Education’ golf tournament

The event will be a four-person scramble at Barrington Hall. The event is November 8 and begins at 9:30 a.m.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Miss Macon is hosting the 12th Annual ‘Teeing Off for Children and Education’ golf tournament.

The event will be a four-person scramble at Barrington Hall. The event is November 8 and begins at 9:30 a.m.

The proceeds from the event will benefit Miss Macon.

Executive Director of Miss Macon, April Montgomery, says Miss Macon is a preliminary to the Miss America competition. Montgomery says that Miss America is the largest leading scholarship provider for young women.

There will be a buffet breakfast and lunch at the event.

The cost is $440 for a 4-person team. Participants will be entered into a drawing to win diamond earrings.
