Milledgeville Police using surveillance video to catch thieves

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Thieves left a Roses Express store night manager in a state of panic, after robing her as she left work, according to Milledgeville Police.

The robbery happened Sunday at 11:52 p.m.  Police found the night manager kneeling behind the register crying frantically.  She told police she was robbed as she sat in her car in the store’s parking lot.

“The victim and two co-workers exited the building and departed the area,” said Maj. Reggie Hill. “The victim noticed a problem with her vehicle and returned back to the Roses parking lot.  After checking underneath the hood of her vehicle, her door was snatched open by one of the suspects.”

Hill added, the suspects hit the woman in her arm and shoved her in the face.  The suspects stole an unknown amount money and a cell phone from the night manager.  Then they ran away.
