Milledgeville Mayoral Special Election candidates announced

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Three people are running for the open Milledgeville Mayor position.  Melba Burrel, Floyd Griffin, and Gary Thrower qualified during the preliminary races last week.

The special election is on June 16th.

Former Mayor Richard Bentley resigned in February because of medical reasons and difficulties involving his former business.
