Milledgeville Main Street hosts “Free Art 4U” during First Friday

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you’re looking for something fun to do on Friday, you might want to take a trip to Milledgeville

The Downtown Development Authority is hosting “Free Art 4U.”

It’s a scavenger hunt around the city that will have you looking for the work of local artists. Milledgeville Main Street will share clues on social media so people can find the hidden artwork. 

“It just creates this communication between the artists, and the community, and Main Street, and First Friday. We’re hoping it catches on beyond our First Friday event,” said Milledgeville Main Street Director Carlee Schulte.

The event starts at noon on Friday. That is when Milledgeville First Friday’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages will release the first clue.
