Milder temperatures coming to Middle Georgia
The average high this time of the year is 66, and the average low is 41. You’ll notice on the Black Friday picture that we’ll be quite mild overnight, and we’re not expecting to get back to those cold overnight lows during the 7-Day forecast.
Whether or not you’ve enjoyed the cold (I have, but I find myself in the minority here often!), the one unfortunate bit of news is the humidity. With dew points on the rise, it won’t feel as dry as it as been outside. The silver lining continues to be the pleasant temperatures, so it won’t feel as humid since the temperatures will remain mostly in the 60s.
On Saturday, I’m expecting 70s for a high, but temperatures drop to the upper 60s on Sunday. By early next week, a front and some tropical moisture head into the southeast. The models have actually gotten progressively drier for Monday and Tuesday, but it still looks like there’s a chance for showers those two days. If it continues to look drier, I may remove rain chances completely, but that remains to be seen.
