MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Mike Seekins, owner of Famous Mike’s of Macon, died Wednesday.
According to a Facebook post, the restaurant will be closed for the next few days.
The Facebook post said the following:
“Dad, Mike, passed away tonight around 9pm (Wednesday, June 25, 2025). Because of this, the restaurant will be closed for the next few days and we are going to take this time to discuss next steps. I’m sorry to give all of you this terrible news, but please lend us some privacy and patience in these trying times. We will update you soon.”
A visitation for Seekins will be held at Hart’s Mortuary on June 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at Famous Mike’s from 1 to 4 p.m.
