Strawberry season underway at Lane Southern Orchards
Spring has sprung, and Lane Southern Orchards is celebrating the start of strawberry season with a family-friendly festival this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can enjoy picking fresh strawberries, sampling local food trucks, shopping with vendors and indulging in freshly made strawberry ice cream straight from the orchard. It’s the perfect way to welcome spring in Middle Georgia!
Soulful Night: Fantasia and Anthony Hamilton live in Macon
Macon is set for a soulful celebration as Fantasia brings her powerhouse vocals to the Macon Coliseum this Saturday night. Legendary R&B artist Anthony Hamilton will join as a special guest, ensuring an unforgettable evening of music and energy. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show starting at 8. Parking is $10 per vehicle and can be purchased online or at the venue. Don’t forget—tickets are mobile-only, so save them to your phone wallet for easy entry.
Easter Fun Fest: Mighty Rock’s 42nd annual Easter Egg Hunt
In Macon, one of Middle Georgia’s most beloved family traditions returns—bigger than ever! The Mighty Rock’s 42nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt Family Fun Fest takes over the Edgar H. Wilson Convention Center on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free community event features a massive egg hunt, game trucks, live music and DJs, bounce houses and complimentary food for all attendees.
In Milledgeville, Church Central hosts its annual egg hunt at the Baldwin County Rec Dept Soccer Field at 5 p.m., featuring 10,000 eggs, bike giveaways, prizes for parents and appearances by movie characters.
In Forsyth, Hamlin Hills Farm invites families for a free Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m., complete with a chance to find the Golden Egg (cash prize!), BBQ and farm animals.
In Kathleen, Andrew Church’s Easter Egg Hunt & Kite Flying Fun runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with egg hunts by age group, hamburgers and hotdogs, kite building and flying, a petting zoo, face painting and train rides.
