Middle Georgia State University now offering two master’s degrees

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia State University has been approved to admit and register students for its new graduate programs.

The university was approved by its regional accrediting agency at the annual meeting of Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

A Master of Science in Information Technology and a Master of Science in Nursing will both be offered online.

President Christopher Blake says “We are grateful for the support of SACSCOC and mindful that there would be no Middle Georgia State University without the confidence of Chancellor Hank Huckaby and the Board of Regents. We are very excited to offer two highly marketable degrees to the citizens of middle Georgia.”

The Office of Graduate Studies will begin registering students immediately
