Middle Georgia RESA hosting regional education job fair in Macon

Job seekers interested in working in education will have the opportunity to connect with multiple Middle Georgia school districts during a regional job fair this weekend.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Middle Georgia Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) will host the job fair on Saturday, Jan. 10, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Westside High School, located at 2851 Heath Road in Macon.

School districts represented include Bibb, Twiggs, Crawford, Monroe, Jones, Peach, Jasper and Houston counties. Representatives from each district will be on site to conduct interviews for a variety of positions.

Both instructional and support roles will be available, including teachers, bus drivers, school nutrition staff, maintenance and clerical positions. Representatives from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and Middle Georgia RESA will also be available to discuss certification requirements and different pathways into the education field.

Job seekers are encouraged to arrive professionally dressed and bring at least eight copies of their resume.
