Middle Georgia hospitals welcome New Year babies
Local hospitals celebrated the first babies born in 2025 around Middle Georgia.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia hospitals are celebrating new babies in the new year.
At Atrium Health Navicent, Karcyn Armani Howard was born at 1:40 A.M. on January 1, 2025. Karcyn was born weighing 4 pounds, 12 oz. and measuring 18 inches.
Congratulations to his mother Ke’Ambria Howard.
At Piedmont Macon, Alonte and Alonna Woods were the first babies born on New Year’s Day at 2:44 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Alonte, 3 pounds and 3.9 ounces, was born at 2:44 a.m., followed by Alonna, 3 pounds and 13.6 ounces, at 2:52 a.m.
According to Piedmont Macon, the brother and sister are in Piedmont Macon’s NICU. Piedmont Macon says the babies and mom are doing well.
Congratulations to their parents LaShondra Johnson and Alton Woods. The twins join a 7-year-old sister
At Houston Healthcare, Presley Nobles was born January 1 at 3:19 a.m. weighing 7 lbs., 15.6 oz., and measuring 19.3 inches long.
Congratulations to her parents Tyler and Danielle Nobles of Byron, Georgia.
