MGSC Women’s Basketball Gets 4th Straight Win
SMYRNA, Georgia (MGSC RELEASE) – The Middle Georgia State Knights women’s basketball team has won their fourth straight game to move to 5-2 and 2-1 in conference. Coach Ligon’s team defeated Chattahoochee Tech 67-53 in Smyrna, GA Friday night in a big conference matchup.
The Knights were led by Va’Queshia Hall (Howard HS) with 17 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 blocks while Jademone’ Jones (Beach HS) added 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Camari Tillman (Bleckley County HS) added 10 points and 6 rebounds while Jada Haynes (Groves HS) added 6 assists in the win.
The Knights will take a break during the Thanksgiving holidays and return to action on December 4 at 5:30 p.m. at Morris Gym in Cochran against No. 10 Darton State College. That game will be shown live at www.ihigh.com/mgsknights.
