MGSC Football Moves to 9-0 with 56-12 Win over Kennesaw State

KENNESAW, Georgia (MGSC RELEASE) – Knights football moved to 9-0 on the season with a 56-12 win over Kennesaw State on Saturday.

Kiontai Button was 19-24 passing for 231 yards and 5 touchdowns. Rico Lyons had 101 rushing with both a rushing and receiving touchdown. Ken Hughes had 5 tackles and 4 interceptions including a 67 yard return for touchdown. Dominique Jordan, Monty Wright and Miguel Carmona III each had 3 sacks while Quintavious Martin added 2 sacks.

The.next game is November 16 at 1 p.m. at Dodge County High School against the Georgia Prep Sports Academy. The Knights will host the conference championship on November 23 witb the location tentatively set at Bleckley County High Stadium in Cochran.
