Mercer’s Got Talent; Do you?

Mercer’s Got Talent is a showcase competition that Mercer University students will compete in for a grand prize of a semester housing scholarship to stay at the Lofts at MercerVillage, and other rewards.

Students will go head-to-head in front of hundreds of community members.

Judges Jessica Walden, Jared Wright and Justin Andrews will decide the winner at the end of the competition.

According to a news release, Live at Lofts and Geico present the event to highlight Macon’s music history, the importance of philanthropy and promote community engagement.

Also, proceeds from the event will go directly toward the rebuilding of houses for displaced families.

Community members are invited to join in on the fun on October 20 at 7:00 p.m. in MercerVillage, located near 1400 Coleman Avenue in Macon.
