Mercer Football to Hold Spring Game April 13

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Mercer University football coach Bobby Lamb announces his football team will play its spring game on April 13.

According to a release from the school, the doors of the new Moye Family Football Complex will be open to the public at 11:30 a.m. with the game to kick off at noon. Lamb is encouraging all Bear fans to attend the scrimmage, which is free of charge.

The Bears have been in spring practice since February 18 and will wrap up the practice season with the scrimmage.

The coaching staff will taken an additional two weeks after the spring game to further evaluate the team.  Student athletes are expected to report back for fall practice on August 1.
