Mentors Project Helps Feed Hundreds of Homeless in Macon

Tonight, children in Middle Georgia passed out hot meals and winter essentials to those who don’t always have the luxury of sleeping or eating in the same place every night.

The Mentors Project sponsored the annual Christmas party for hundreds of people in need at the Christ Episcopal Church in Macon.

“You have a lot of empty bellies out there that need to be fed,” says volunteer, Courtney Atkinson.
