MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – According to the World Health Organization, sepsis affects an estimated 30 million people worldwide, potentially leading to 6 million deaths.

Liz Polizzatti, the Sepsis Coordinator for Coliseum Northside Hospital, visited Daybreak to tell us more about this illness.
