Medical Monday: Shoulder Arthritis

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Shoulder arthritis may not be the first type of arthritis you think of, but it’s just as painful.

Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ryan Decoons joins 41NBC to talk more about it.

Decoons says the shoulder joint is a little more fragile than the hip and knee joints.

If you have shoulder arthritis, usually it’s a deeper pain toward the back of the shoulder.
