Medical Monday: Pediatric Asthma

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Asthma affects lots of children and adults across the nation.

It’s important to know more about the disease.

Valerie Fox from Navicent Health joins 41NBC to talk more about it.

She says asthma is a disease you’re born with.

It’s when the muscles around the lungs make it hard to breathe.

The chief way to treat asthma is through an inhaler.
