Massive crowd turn out for Sacred Heart Church Fall Festival

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A massive crowd of people turned out for the 57th annual Sacred Heart Church Fall Festival.

Activities included something for the entire family: arts and crafts, inflatables, pony rides and a petting zoo.

The festival covered most of the church’s lawn.

Last year, organizers raised more than $60,000.  Organizers are hoping to exceed that amount this year.  The money raised helps operate Sacred Heart School, according to Ashley Lopez, one of the coordinators.

“It always brings a lot of joy to us,” Lopez says.  “On the day when we can look around and see all the kids and all the families that come out and enjoy the day it makes all the work that goes into it really worth it.”

Lopez says the festival set a record for attendance this year.
