Marginal risk for Severe Storms Saturday

41NBC WMGT Macon, GA:  Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.  I hope your Friday has been a good one.  The weather was a bit changeable today.  We did have some morning showers at times, but the sun is also now out at times and temperatures have soared into the low to mid 70’s.  Go figure….More changes are in store for the forecast as we roll into tonight and over the weekend.  In fact, there is going to be some really big changes.  More chances for showers and even a storm or two tonight and into the early morning hours of Saturday.  During the day on Saturday, there will be chances for showers and storms at any given time.  The better chances for showers and storms will be later Saturday afternoon.  Yes, that means we could be dodging storms for the Cherry Blossom Festival Parade.  See graphic below.  Much cooler temperatures will roll into Middle Georgia by Sunday and Monday.  Highs are going to barely reach the 60 degree mark.  Enjoy the weekend, but be prepared for rain and some storms, then cooler.
