Man wanted in Kroger armed robbery
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office needs the public help in identifying a suspect who was involved in an armed robbery at the Kroger on Forsyth Road.
The incident happened just before 1:00a.m. Sunday. Deputies say the suspect entered the store carrying a black trash bag and walked to the meat department at the back of the store, then walked back to the front of the store with the bag filled with items.
A store employee tried to stop the suspect as he was leaving out of the store, but he pulled out a box cutter and the employee moved out of his way.
The suspect is described as 5’10 tall, last seen wearing a black short sleeve t-shirt, black pants, white and black tennis shoes, and a black doo-rag on his head.
