Man wanted for Bibb County murder arrested in Jones County

Deputies located and stopped a vehicle containing a reported runaway juvenile on June 13, according to a news release.

JONES COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man wanted for murder in Bibb County was arrested Friday, according to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies located and stopped a vehicle containing a reported runaway juvenile on June 13, according to a news release.

The sheriff’s office said Darrell Stanley of Macon was inside the vehicle. Stanley had active warrants, including one for murder in Bibb County and another for vehicle theft in Jones County.

Stanley was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Bibb County authorities. The juvenile was safely returned to their family.
