Man struck while riding bicycle

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bike accident that took place on Eisenhower Parkway around 2 o’clock Sunday morning.

56-year-old Larry Worthy was riding a bike and pulling a lawnmower while trying to cross the northbound lanes of Eisenhower Parkway when he was hit by a car driven by 25-year-old Javorious Knight.

Worthy was taken to the hospital and is listed in stale condition .

No charges have been filed at this time.

This incident is still under investigation.
