Man shot outside of South Macon home

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man was shot in front of his home on Rice Mill Road, that’s according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened around 1:45 a.m., Wednesday. The victim told deputies he saw two men standing in a field near his home. He asked the men what they were doing and they told him to go back into his home.

One of the men then fired a shot in his direction.

The victim was hit in his right leg, near his shin.

The suspects are 5’9 to 6’0 tall and were both wearing white t-shirts.
