Man shot at Macon motel

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was shot at the FairBridge Inn located at 105 Riverside Parkway Thursday morning.

The shooting happened just before 4:30 a.m. Bibb deputies say 42 year old Christopher Blanson was sitting in his car meeting a female friend at the motel when he a male walked up to the vehicle.

The two got into an argument and Blanson attempted to leave. The suspects then fired shots at Blanson’s vehicle, striking him.

Blanson drove to the Walthall Convenience Store at 3720 Riverside Drive to report the shooting. Blanson was grazed but refused to be taken to the hospital.
