Man shot in Macon, didn’t check in at hospitals

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was shot at the Autumn Trace Apartments Friday morning in Macon.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says Frannes Finnel, 23, was visiting the apartments when an unknown suspect fired several gunshots through the door. It happened just after 12:26 AM. Finnel then fired back from inside the apartment through the door.

Finnel was shot in the leg. He left the scene before deputies arrived. Deputies looked at all local hospitals, but Finnel didn’t check himself into any.
