Man shot in south Macon, deputies investigating

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that left one man with a gunshot wound in the leg.

It happened early Thursday morning on Charlotte Street near Capital Avenue in Macon.

The victim, Jonathan Hall, says he was walking on the street and heard two gunshots and felt a burning sensation in his left leg. He then realized he had been shot.

Hall was taken to the hospital by a family member for treatment and has been released.
