Man shot in drive by shooting in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was shot in a drive by shooting in Macon Thursday morning. It happened just before 11:15 AM on Houston Avenue near Villa Crest Avenue.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Javarius Davis told deputies two men pulled up to him and fired shots from their car. They shot Davis in the back once, then left the scene.

Deputies found Davis near the C Mini Mart. He was taken to Navicent Health and is in stable condition.
