Man shot at Indian Oaks Apartment in Fort Valley, investigation underway

Officers were near East Church Street in Fort Valley when they heard multiple gunshots coming from the Indian Oaks Apartments, located at 1103 East Church Street, on October 28.

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was shot at Indian Oaks Apartments in Fort Valley on Monday night, according to Chief of Police DJ Flores.

Officers were near East Church Street in Fort Valley when they heard multiple gunshots coming from the Indian Oaks Apartments, located at 1103 East Church Street, on October 28.

Officers found a man who had been shot in a vehicle in the parking lot of the property. The victim was separated from family members to receive medical assistance.

Chief Flores requested assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The victim is listed in critical but stable condition.
