Man Shot and Killed While Driving in Macon

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says 29 year old Antonio Felton of Macon was shot while driving down Pio Nono Avenue early this morning.

Jones says the bullet went through the right rear door of the car. It hit Felton on the right side of his head.

After Felton was shot, he drove himself and a female passenger to a Citgo Station in the 4500 block of Hartley Bridge Road. The female passenger who was not hit, made the 911 call. Felton was pronounced dead on the scene.

Felton’s body was taken to the GBI Crime Lab in Macon for an autopsy. Macon Police are investigating the shooting.
