Man shot after leaving Macon nightclub

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect who shot a man on Highway 247.

According to a news release,  26-year-old Jeronte Johnson was shot around 3:00 a.m., Sunday after leaving Club Status on Pionono Avenue.

Deputies say Johnson would not talk about what happened, but two men with him say a small red car drove up beside them as they were traveling back to Warner Robins and shot at them.

Johnson was hit in the shoulder and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
