Man Sentenced After Attacking Macon Principal

Macon, GA -Authorities say a man accused of attacking a
Macon elementary school principal in 2009 has been sentenced to
prison.

Officials say 21-year-old Keondre Darnell Taylor was sentenced
Monday to five years in prison followed by 15 years of probation.

Prosecutor Nancy Scott Malcor said Taylor had gone to Burghard
Elementary School to visit his mother, who was working as a
substitute teacher.

Authorities say Principal Lynne Donehoo was alerted to a
commotion in the school, and confronted Taylor.

Malcor said he shoved the principal with both hands on her
chest. Malcor said the principal fell, breaking her wrist and two
vertebrae. Malcor said she hit her head and temporarily lost
consciousness.
