Man accused of robbing downtown Macon bank unarmed

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspected bank robber.

According to a news release,  a man entered the BB&T Bank on Second Street around 11:30 a.m., Monday and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller gave the suspect an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect is described as 160 to 180 pounds and about 5’8 in height. He was last seen wearing a ball cap, burgundy, multi-colored, button up shirt and blue jeans.
