Man robs BP gas station at gunpoint

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who robbed the BP on Riverside Drive early Saturday morning.

It happened around 5 o’clock at the store, which is located at 4765 Riverside Drive.

A release from the sheriff’s office says the gunman was dressed in all black clothing. He was wearing gloves and had a blue bandana over his face.

The store clerk said the suspect showed a black handgun and demanded all of the money in the cash register. After taking the money, the suspect was last seen running behind the business.

No one was injured during the incident.
