Man Robbed Outside Hotel Room in West Bibb County

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating a personal armed robbery that took place at the Quality Inn on Chambers Road, according to a news release.

Witness reports say around 1:40am on Tuesday, two armed suspects approached another man who was smoking outside of his hotel room. After they coerced the man to go back inside, where there were four other people, the suspects then went through their luggage and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and personal items. There were no injuries reported.

Both men were described as slender black males of average height, wearing black hooded jackets and bandanas covering their faces.
