Man Robbed At Macon Bar

Macon police arrest a man after responding to a personal armed robbery.

Saturday, MPD’s precinct 4 officers responded to a call at Sparks Bar, just off of Mercer University Drive.

The victim told officers he had been robbed by a black male, attempting to sell him weed.

Police arrested 29-year-old Shakeno Dontaye Collins. A detective also discovered Collins was involved in an attempted robbery earlier that evening on Rocky Creek Road.

This is his 21st arrest dating back to 1997.
