Man recovering after shooting in east Macon

According to deputies, the shooting happened in the East Pinehill Drive area around 7:30 p.m.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating a shooting that happened on Friday night in east Macon.

According to deputies, the shooting happened in the East Pinehill Drive area around 7:30 p.m.

Deputies say a man was injured as a result of the incident.

A Sheriff’s Office news release states paramedics arrived on scene to treat the victim for his injuries, and took the victim to a medical facility.

No one else was injured.

The Sheriff’s Office says the incident is under investigation.
