Man Receives Life Sentence for Deadly Bar Shooting In Houston Co.
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – A life sentenced is handed down to a man convicted of shooting and killing two brothers in Houston County.
Following a three-day trial, a jury convicted 27-year-old Travis Thomas, Jr., in the murders of Kenny Hart, Jr and Jabrial Adams.
The shooting happened in March of 2017 at the Jus One More bar and nightclub at 4993 Russell Parkway. Thomas was fighting with the brothers when he pulled out a pistol and started shooting.
After the shooting, Thomas fled the state and was ultimately apprehended by the U.S. Marshals in South Carolina.
A jury returned a verdict of guilty to all eight counts of Malice Murder (two counts), Felony Murder (two counts), Aggravated Assault
(two counts) and Possessing a Firearm during the commission of the murder (two counts).
