Man on Motor Scooter Ran Over, Then Shot In The Back In Perry

PERRY, Ga- A man is the hospital after being knocked off his motor scooter and then shot in Perry Wednesday night, according to Perry Police Captain Heath Dykes.

Dykes told 41NBC it happened around 8:30 Wednesday night on Old Field Lane, off of Swift Street.

Dykes said the 21 year old man was riding a moped when he was ran over by a car and then shot in the back. He was rushed to Medical Center, Navcient Health in Macon to be taken into surgery.

Dykes said police are trying to contact the victim’s family. They’re also looking for a white Chevrolet Impala, in connection to the shooting.
