Man is killed riding moped on Hawkinsville road

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man riding a moped is hit and killed this morning.
Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones says the accident took place just after 6 a.m. in the 61 hundred block of Hawkinsville Road.
Authorities believe the man may have been hit by several vehicles. The fatality is under investigation.
