Man in Hospital After Being Severely Beaten

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is in the hospital after being beat up by several people.

According to Macon Police, 50 year-old Charles Smith was on Elpis Steet Sunday evening when the suspects beat him up and gave him a couple of black eyes.

Despite knowing who did this to him, Smith refused to call police and instead, went to sleep. A friend couldn’t wake him up when he found him, so the friend called police.
