Man in Halloween Costume Robs Store in East Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a suspect in connection to an armed robbery.

The XMart, located on Emory Highway, was robbed early Thursday morning at around 4:22AM. A black male reportedly entered the store with a a gun and demanded money from the register. After taking an undisclosed amount, he fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as being 6′ 2″, and around 160 lbs. He was wearing a Halloween costume to cover most of his body, and a bandana to hide his face.
