Man hospitalized after shooting in West Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred at a home on Lucille Driskell Dr. just after 4 a.m. Friday morning.

Reports say that 24-year-old Courtney Hordge was awakened by noises outside of the home. He went outside to investigate and he found several windows busted out of his girlfriend’s vehicle.

While Hordge was checking the car an unknown suspect shot him twice. He was struck in the left arm and the lower back.

Hordge was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. There is no information on the suspect at this time.
